Tom Whitehead

2000 Skeeter - Yamaha Pro/Am
Invitational Champion

Background:
Tom began fishing competitively in 1980 with the Twin Rivers Bass Masters Club out of Mankato, MN. He fished his first "money" tournament in 1987. It was the old MN/WI Pro/Am circuit and it paid 12 places. He borrowed the entry fee and a 25HP motor from his aunt to hang on his 14 foot aluminum boat. He placed 12th, got a check, and has been hooked on tournament fishing ever since!
He has over fifty Top Three finishes in various circuits.

Tom has spent many years as a Professional guide in the Brainerd Lakes area where he honed his angling skills.

Tom has spent over twenty years in the hunting and fishing industry, many of those years in retail and most recently as a manufacturer's representative.
