Champions Tour Angler of the Year Information

Angler’s competing in the 2018 Champions Tour events and Champions Tour Open events will be racing towards the prize of an all-expense paid fishing trip to Islamorada (Key West), Florida, for the winter of 2019, where they will stay and go fishing with Scott Bonnema.

To calculate the Champions Tour Angler of the Year Standings, Classic Bass will take an angler’s best three tournaments across all six (three Tour, two Open’s and the Championship) Champions Tour events in 2018.

For the two Open event’s, only the top 30 places will receive points, as this is the number of anglers earning points in the three Tour events.

Points will be awarded as listed below:

  • 1st place: 30 points
  • 2nd place: 29 points
  • 3rd place: 28 points
  • 4th place: 27 points
  • 29th place: 2 points
  • 30th place: 1 point

Anglers can use any combination of three events to accumulate points for the Angler of the Year award.

We can’t wait to get the 2018 Classic Bass Champions Tour season kicked off and hope to see you at one or both of the Open events!

We will be posting more information soon, so please continue to check back here and the Classic Bass Facebook Page for further details and updates.
