Champions Tour 2018 Championship –Le Homme Dieu Chain Event Schedule

The Championship is underway! Here's Paul with an overview on the Alexandria Chain.

Elite Series Pro Seth Feider is with us again today. Here's Seth with an early update from the Alex Chain and Lake Darling

Our first angler interview of the day is with Matt Peters who is off to a great start and is currently in 2nd place unofficially with 12 bass for 23-1

Matt Gilbertson is our early leader which doesn't come as a surprise. Matt is basically our only local in the field and his experience on the Alexandria Chain is already proving to be a major benefit

Is there a funner way to catch bass than with a buzzbait? Jim Lindner doesn't think so... Lindner is getting tons of blow ups but some fish aren't staying pinned

We caught up with last year's champ, Andy Walls while serving a penalty. Andy is off to a good start but needs to convert on a few more!

Bob Perkins is unofficially sitting in 2nd place! With 37 pounds of LHD bass

Will Pappa has officially donated his phone to the depths... Meaning Will's Scoretracker weight is not accurate. Where is Pappa sitting in the standings? Wait for our halftime update to find out!

Halftime is just a few minutes away. The fishing has slowed a touch in the last hour but the leaderboard is tight. Here's our Tonka Champ Tim Schroeder

The 2nd half is underway. Here's Paul to explain the lake split

Seth catches up with "Uncle Jeffy" Allen from Daiwa. Jeff is off to a solid start here in the second half

Matt Gilbertson is still unofficially our leader but he has multiple anglers on his heels. Dean Capra and Matt Peters are just 2-3 fish behind

Dean Capra has unofficially taken the lead away from Gilbertson. He's utilizing a jig and a Flip Shot to make a major push!

The weather this afternoon could play a huge part in this tournament. Here's Paul with an update on what we might expect

Matt Peters has a lot on the line right now... Matt has now jumped to 2nd place unofficially here at the Championship, but he's also our current AOY leader. If Matt finishes strong he could wrap up one or both of these titles!

It's anyone's to win! Here's the guys with some closing thoughts on the day as we enter the final hour
