2022 Champions Tour Rookies – Part 3

With another Champions Tour season upon us, as of now, we have a total of 15 rookies that will be making their first casts on the Champions Tour in 2022.

Here is a look at our final group of Champions Tour rookies.

Brennan Berglund
Zimmerman, MN

Brennan Berglund

Brennan is no stranger to using the Reel LiveWell App, has he has assembled a great record fishing the SATT events and is a three-time TOC qualifier.

James Chapman
Hutchinson, MN

James Chapman

James has been tournament fishing since he was 14 years old and has fished a variety of different tournament series in Minnesota including the MNBN Team Trail, Amateur Bass, MT3, as well as others. He has also competed in competitions outside of Minnesota in the Alabama Top 100 tournament trail, the Sturgeon Bay Open, and the Fort Frances Championship on Rainy Lake.

“I’m looking forward to the new format that the Champions Tour offers and can’t wait to be competing against a stacked field of MN anglers.”

Mike Dove
Brownsburg, IN

Mike Dove

Mike (Chief) Dove is a lifelong angler who is a veteran of the U.S Navy and in 2017 retired as a Chief of Police. During his career in Law Enforcement, Chief Dove served 27 years with the Brownsburg Police Department. He is also the founder of the Hero Getaway, a yearly event that takes place at the Garrison’s Resort in Shevlin Minnesota.  Dove has competed on both the Bassmaster Open and FLW Costa Series events and has experience in the catch, weigh, release style events as he competed in the Indy League Fishing (ILF).

“I am excited for the opportunity to fish the Champions Tour, especially because of the exciting and challenging format, it offers,” said Dove.  “I cannot wait to fish against and meet with some of the top anglers from the Midwest and fish on some of the best bass waters this country has to offer.”
