Due to cancellations with their previously schedule tournaments, BASS Open anglers have elected to fish the 2020 Champions Tour to keep their skills sharp, while throwing their hat into the ring against a seasoned crop of returning tour anglers and a growing field of rookies on the 2020 Champions Tour.
Denny Fiedler –
Denny grew up on the Mississippi River in Wabasha, did not start bass fishing until joining a BASS Federation club while living in Minnetonka after college. That lead to competing in regional team and pro-am circuits over the past several years. In 2018 Denny started fishing full time on the Bassmaster Opens circuits.
“I haven’t been able to fish much locally over the past three years so I’m really excited to compete again against some of the best anglers in the region in a new format for me.”
Andy Hribar –
Andy began fishing bass tournaments with the BASS federation when he was 16 and has always wanted to try to catch them all over the country. So last year he got the opportunity to fish the BASS opens and is now on his second year traveling the US.
“I’m super excited to try a different format with some of the best anglers in the Midwest and from what I’ve heard fish some of the best run events around.”
