Deerwood, MN – The Reel LiveWell tournament fishing app is excited to announce that it has partnered with the Dick Hiley St. Jude Bass Classic for their upcoming 24th annual event on May 7th and 8th on the Mississippi River. The Reel LiveWell App will be used to provide bass fishing enthusiasts, family members and friends a real time leaderboard of the event as the weigh-in takes place each day.
As the two-person teams weigh in, their six-bass limit will be entered into the App, along with the weight of their big bass. A photo of the team with their fish will also be taken and uploaded. This will allow people to follow along as 70 plus teams weigh in their limits of Mississippi River largemouth and smallmouth and compete for a first-place prize of $20,000.
“This new feature for the Reel LiveWell is very exciting, as it will engage more tournament organizations in using the App to provide their fans an experience to follow along with their weigh-in as it takes place,” said Scott Bonnema, Owner of the Reel LiveWell App. “Now tournament organizations don’t need to worry about fancy programs or software to have a live leaderboard, just set up an account with us and upload the weights as they become available.”
People can follow along by downloading the Reel LiveWell App from either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. The weigh-in is set to begin each day at 3:30 pm (CST) and will wrap up around 5:00 pm. The leaderboard can also be viewed here if you are on a computer.
The Reel LiveWell app was designed in 2019 and has undergone three years of extensive development and testing, as well as it being used by select fishing tournament organizations to provide the most possible feedback and identify additional development needs.
