Big 2020 Champions Tour Announcements

  • 2020 Champions Tour Schedule – Pending DNR Permit Approval
    • June 5th:  Mississippi River, Pool 4
    • June 19th:  Prior Lake
    • July 31st:  Lake Vermilion
    • August 1st:  Pelican (Orr) – NON TOUR event, this event is to thank and support our high school boat officials and will be a Pro/Am event with them.  No points will be awarded for this event, just CASH! This event is for Champions Tour anglers only, it is not an open to the public Pro-Am. Entry fee is TBD
    • Aug 21st:  Northwest Minnesota or Western Wisconsin
    • Sept 3rd – 5th:  2020 TOC, Location will be announced on August 21st
  • 2020 Registrations
    • November 18th:  The top 30 anglers in points from the 2019 season will receive priority entry for 2020 (entry forms will be e-mailed out next week)
    • December 2nd:  Registration will open for all other anglers and priority will be given first to anglers who are signing up for all four of the 2020 events (entry forms will be posted on the site by December 1st)
    • If you wish to pay with credit card, you can, but a 3% service fee will be added to the transaction
    • At the time of your entry, 50% of your 2020 entry fees are due as a deposit and this amount is NON-REFUNDABLE (refunds will be granted on a medical or family emergency basis and subject to Champions Tour approval)
    • The Entry Fee balance will be due on April 1st, 2020
    • Total Entry is $1000 per Champions Tour Event
    • Events are limited to 50 boats
  • Points
    • Must fish 3 of the 4 Champions Tour events in 2020
    • Angler of the Year and Championship qualification points will be calculated based on a fixed scale of 50 points for first place, 49 for second place and so on down the line
      • TOC Qualification will be based on an Angler’s best 4 events
      • AOY will be based on Angler’s best 4 events (including the Championship)
  • Payouts
    • We will be paying out to 30% of the field in 2020
    • We will be making the 2020 Championship NO ENTRY FEE!
  • Rules
    • The minimum bass size for the 2020 season is 1 lb
    • One week prior to the tournament, ONLY immediate family members can pre-fish or be in a boat with a Champions Tour angler
