The afternoon session was as good as it gets on the Champions Tour in terms of drama. John Figi pulls out the win by just 8oz!

Moynagh momentarily snatched the lead from John Figi. Both anglers are jostling back and forth for the top spot. The final hour is going to be intense!

Under 2 hours remain in today’s action. Figi, Moynagh, Felix, Peters and O’Connor round out the top 5 unofficially. Plenty more action to come!

The afternoon is being stingy for most anglers. There hasn’t been many changes to the top 10 but there are a couple anglers inching closer to Figi and Moynagh. Champions Tour Vet, Austin Felix is one of them.

John Figi has just gone over the 90 pound mark and we’re still in the first half of the day. John is lighting up largemouth on a deep weedline. He’s avoiding the smallmouth draw that so many anglers pursued this morning and it’s paying off

Early leader is Jim Moynagh who is on pace to break the all-time Champions Tour weight record. Stay tuned to see if Jim can keep catching

Connor O’Connor currently sits in 3rd with 14 bass for 31-4oz. All of his fish are of the brown variety

The Site… This year’s Champions Tour Le Homme Dieu event will be blasting off out of Mount Carmel Family Camp and Conference Center, located on Lake Carlos. The lake will be split for morning and afternoon sessions but at one point or another anglers will be able to fish Le Homme Dieu, Carlos, Geneva and the Darlings
